Danielle Elizabeth Fisher, age 16, of Gordo, died Oct. 11, 2008, at home. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, 2008, at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Pat Powell and Rev. Mike Skelton officiating. Burial will follow in Greenhill Memorial Gardens with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her MawMaw, Ruthie Starnes; her PawPaw, Junior Starnes; her grandparents, Alfred and Florence Fisher; and her uncle, Danny Fisher.

Survivors include her parents, Eddie and Elizabeth "Beth" Fisher of Gordo; her sister, Andea Black (R.J.) of Fayette; her brothers, Joseph Marlowe of Northport, Jamie Fisher of Fosters, and Matthew Fisher of Gordo; her nieces, Taylor Fisher of Fosters, and Rilynn Fisher and Kay Lee Black, both of Fayette; her nephew, J. R. Black of Fayette; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Danielle was born January 26, 1992, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She was a student at Gordo High School. Danielle was one of a kind, very outspoken, and set in her ways. We all loved her and we know she will be greatly missed.

We needed you here with us, but God must have needed you more. I know you will make a beautiful Angel. Sleep peacefully my doll, and know we'll never stop loving you. You will be missed by us all.

Pallbearers will be Joey Martinez, Casey Holsonback, Robbie Ferrell, Jay Burton, Wesley Barrett, and Ronnie Black.

Honorary pallbearers are Gordo High School Class of 2010 and the Gordo community.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Zion Community Baptist Church, c/o Patsy Reynolds, 8178 Hwy. 159, Gordo, AL 35466.
